Primo Hotpot

Primo Hotpot is a steamboat shop located at Market88 Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. They just done their renovation in August 2015. The interior design is done by a local designer Robert Chow & renovated by his team. Robert Chow (born June 02, 1991) is a very talented Architecture & Interior designer and currently Design Director of O.C.D, Former Design Director of A2RD Atelier.

 

The design of this 极品 by using pine wood frame & LED lights is totally an eye catching when you arrive the shop as well as from far at the roadside. Simple & Unique.

This is a Japanese Chinese crossover design which makes full use of the wood element to created an cozy & warm ambiance for steamboat. 2 different kind of vinyl woods flooring brings up the clear differentiation between the platform & the floor.

  

 With the combination of the pine wood frame & the Matt black color wall as background, it fully bring up the contrast under the lights especially during night time. There is a private room provided which can fit in up to 10 peoples.
 

 Briefly talk about the foods, sorry for no taking my own photos but grab from their page :p. Their herbal soup is original recipe from Taiwan, it's a must to try on the herbal soup. The minced pork rice is nice & exactly like the Taiwan one. Besides that, the cuttlefish pancake is also highly recommended. The owner of this shop, Mr Ting also carried the Angus beef & Wagyu with an affordable price.

What's make an Airlines

Recently in Malaysia there's is a lots of new airlines have been build up. To make an airlines, it's not an easy job and required a very huge capital.

 Like as any other company, an airlines also required those basics departments such as HR department, account department, marketing department & etc, but some more departments like crew, flight dispatch, maintenance, ramp & etc are required. Build an airlines required a lots of man power to run it hence will makes higher employment rate.

Anyhow the largest cost and most important things to set up an airlines is the aircraft. An aircraft is the tool for airlines to make profit. Most of the airlines starting by leasing old aircraft from others as starting to reduce the cost. However to make an aircraft fly isn't that easy too. An airlines has to get an Air Operating Certificate (AOC) from Department Of Civil Aviation (DCA).

Basically for aircraft itself required a lot of documentation to fly it such as C of A, insurance...and everything is not easy to get certified and need to renew by time to time. To fly an aircraft there is a few sets of crew required too for operation & standby.

Other than that the route for an airlines operating is also important. It requires a lots of survey before stating a destination for the statistic of pax & cargo which determines the profit of the airlines from the route. However to land on the destination also required approval for the schedule time, parking bay, ground support...so many stuff to be considering.

Lastly how the airlines makes profit from?? That's what we called it as payload which is passenger, baggage & cargo. Some extra services can be charged too such as inflight meal, onboard wifi & merchandise.

Introduction of Pilot's Licenses & Ratings

Student Pilot License (SPL)

First License you can get from flying school or flying club to fly as a cadet pilot. With this license, you are only able to fly with instructors or solo flight.

Private Pilot License (PPL)

With a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, you can obtain your PPL by passing the flight test with Authorized Examiner (AE). With PPL, you can fly a light aircraft that you rated for with a current C of T. PPL enable you to fly with passenger but without making any profit. For those who own a private light aircraft, it's good enough to fly with PPL as hobby.

Commercial Pilot License (CPL)  

With a minimum of 200 hours of flight time, you can obtain your CPL by passing the General handling, Instrument & Flight Navigation test with Authorized Examiner (AE). With CPL, you can be hired by any commercial airlines or general aviation industry to fly as a pilot commercially.

Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

With a minimum of 1500 hours of flight time with certain requirement, you will be upgraded to ATPL to fly as a commander of the aircraft by meeting the company requirement. ATPL is a symbolize of the knowledge & experience gained that is more valuable to join any other airlines worldwide. Normally will be promoted as a First Officer with 3 bars by the company.

Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (Frozen ATPL)

On top of your CPL or MPL, Frozen ATPL is the certificate shows you have done all your written exam in ATPL level. Theoretically it's a frozen license for 5 years until you meet your requirement to get the full ATPL.

Multi Crew Pilot License (MPL)

MPL is a license that tailor made for airlines cadet starting for their ab-initio training until type rating. Unlike traditional flying syllabus, MPL could shorten the training period to provide pilots to airlines in fastest time. 

Instrument Rating (IR)

IR is a rating that allow pilots to fly Instrument Flying Rule in Instrument Meteorological Condition (IMC). 

Type Rating (TR)

TR is a rating for an aircraft to let you fly the aircraft. Normally for an airlines, ground class is conducted, Computer Based Training(CBT), Type Tech Exam, Simulator Training, Skill Test (initial C of T), Endorsement, Line Training & Line Check then only you can start flying for an airlines as a second officer.  

 Assistant Flying Instructor (AFI) / Flying Instructor (FI) Rating

 AFI/FI rating allows you to guide cadet pilot in flying. The difference between this two rating is AFI rating is only available to guide cadet for certain exercises accoding to the instructional experience.

H&M X Balmain 05/11/2015

Most of the people knows about H&M, a a Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, known for its fast fashion clothing for men, women & kids. Almost every year H&M will collaborate with some other high fashion brand.

This year I have joined the event in Malaysia, with nearly queue up for 16 hours with friends but we manage to get the blue tag which is for the third batch to get in for shopping. Before start shopping, we will need to do some "homework" which is go through the catalog in H&M official website https://www.hm.com/gb/balmain We won't have anytime to think and choose what we want when go in that every batch is only given 15 minutes to shop only so everyone will shop like crazy on that time.

I only manage to get myself a sun glass. It's a good experience for me.

Nike Air Mag

Remember the movie Back to the future II?? The shoe wore by Martin Mcfly in the movie is called "Nike Air Mag"

The movie was in 1989 and Nike was asked to collaborate on this movie that would feature scenes set in the futuristic world of 2015.

This is Martin Mcfly in the movie, he traveled to 21 October 2015 and wore this shoe in the movie.

This is he in the real 21 October 2015. On Back To The Future Day, 21 October 2015, Nike and Michael J. Fox announced that there would be a future release of the Nike Air MAG with Power Laces, but it would not take place until 2016.
